Funds raised cover a wide array  of opportunities to enrich the educational experience of our Abe Music students.

1. Clinicians’ and accompanists’ costs

2. WAMPA’s Administrative Co-ordinator’s wages

3. Financial support for families in financial difficulties

4. General Support:  Bussing to events, facility rental, meals/pizzas, festival fees, etc.

5. Purchase of musical instruments, livestreaming and video recording technology, sound system, LED lighting, portable signage, etc.

I enjoyed being in the music program because it allowed me to travel to new places, create meaningful relationships with peers, teachers, and other musicians. It enriched my life significantly. I learned about how music shapes our world and the importance of music in day-to-day life.

During my high school years, I found a home in music. The teachers in the music program are kind, motivating, supportive, and always made our classes feel like a safe space for all students. Their constant support helped encourage me to pursue a degree in music education. Their guidance, encouragement and providing opportunities have helped me grow as a musician. Abe Music fosters a wonderful and supportive community of students and teachers, and I am so incredibly grateful to have been a part of this program.
